FAQs - Centers and Schools
Where are your Centers located? Go the Centers page and view the locations on the map. Are the Centers company owned or are they franchised? All existing Centers are company owned and are authorized to provide the Sharper Minds program. What does it take to start up a Center? At this point, Sharper Minds is not quite ready to license its methodology to other providers other than the Sharper Mind Centers, which is a test bed for developing optimal business practices (It takes more than a successful product or service to become successful operationally). Once Sharper Minds, Inc. can be assured that all Licensees will have a high probability of success due to using systemized and established business practices, and all the legal aspects of licensing are in place, licensing will be made available at a very reasonable fee. The best candidates to become Licensees are pediatricians and/or other medical practitioners, psychiatrists, teachers with some business skills, and business people with a sense of opportunity. The latter may need to hire the appropriate trainers and consultants to do the actual testing and training of patients. There will a nominal License fee and royalties depending on the licensing structure chosen. Sharper Mind Centers is open to joint venturing or co-op'ing with interested parties in opening up Centers in other locations. If you have or have access to substantial resources to support startup and operational costs, submit your contact information via 1) the feedback form, or 2) call 1-866-HELP-ADD and ask to speak to the General Manager. Serious inquiries only, please. We are interested in licensing schools via site-wide licenses so that they may offer the Sharper Minds program for many of their students. Site-wide licenses would include training for several staff members, equipment and materials for several classrooms and ongoing education and support. Since all children (and adults) will benefit, we'd love to see schools incorporate the program into the earlier grades (first to third), above and beyond the needs of special education classes.
