If learning about the brain, what causes learning disorders, and how to improve the brain interests you, then you'll want to attend our exciting informational seminar on the brain this coming Thursday evening (August 24) at 7:30 p.m. An open house along with a pre-seminar slide show with interesting tidbits about the brain as well as a video begins around 7:00. It will be held at our main office in Beaverton. I wanted to make sure you were aware of it. Join us, or if you haven't done so yet, then at least schedule an evaluation. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Experimental Program for those with Autism and True ADHD My wife (or Program Director) and I are also very excited about a new experimental program we're looking at launching as part of our continuing R&D work into improving brain performance. As some of you are aware, there is a strong link between Autism and Vaccinations. If you haven't already read it, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s article "Deadly Immunity" is a must read! I've posted a copy at: http://www.sharpermindcenters.com/articles/deadly_immunity.htm Recognizing this, and the issue of ADHD behavior without learning challenges, we're going to be launching an experimental deep detox program to help autistic children and true ADHD children (these are part of the Autistic Spectrum Disorder with the same cause, just lesser damage). The goal of the program would be to substantially reduce injurious heavy metals within a child's brain over a 4 week period of time and to see what kind of improvements in thinking and behavioral skills might happen afterwards. Preliminary studies that I've read about are very encouraging, though no one seems to have done the combination deep detox that I have envision. The equipment and materials to do this will require some investment (it might require a grant unless we can get enough interested candidates to participate and each pay a bit in advance), and we'd like to have an idea of what sort of interest is out there for this. The detox program would also likely be effective for those with a variety of health challenges including those fighting cancer. Recently (8-26-06) I was able to help my cousin who has fought Hodgkin's Lymphoma for 18 years and who literally was on his death bed (the family had gathered for an anticipated funeral), begin to recover. Many of his tumors are diminishing, he's off oxygen support and he's feeling much better. I'm betting he goes into total remission by the time he's followed our protocol!
